Overview 

The Volant Closed Box Air Intake for the 2008–2019 Nissan Frontier, 2008–2017 Xterra, and 2008–2013 Pathfinder with the 4.0L V6 engine is designed to improve engine performance and efficiency by increasing the volume of cooler ambient air entering the intake system. The included Volant MaxFlow 5 oiled cotton gauze filter provides excellent filtration while enhancing airflow to boost horsepower and torque. This intake system is engineered for a direct bolt-on fit with no need to relocate the horn, thanks to a precision relief cut in the housing.
