Overview
The Volant Closed Box Air Intake for the 2009–2013 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, as well as 2009–2014 GM SUVs equipped with 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, or 6.2L V8 engines, is designed to increase engine performance by delivering cooler, denser air through an oversized sealed intake box. Its cool air box design features a large opening and a cold-air scoop that significantly enhances airflow compared to the restrictive factory system. The high-velocity venturi adapter ensures smooth, unrestricted air passage through the MAF sensor, optimizing throttle response and engine efficiency. The intake system supports multiple air filter options, including the long-lasting maintenance-free PowerCore filter, the washable and reusable DryTech filter, and the high-performance MaxFlow 5 oiled filter.
