Overview
The PSR 2867 Gen2 DBB T51R MOD Turbocharger is engineered to deliver up to 550 horsepower, making it well-suited for high-performance street and motorsport applications. It utilizes a dual ceramic ball bearing system that ensures faster spool-up, improved throttle response, and increased durability. The turbo features an 8-blade Gen2 billet compressor wheel with extended tapered tip technology, which boosts power output by up to 20% compared to previous generation models. Its 9-blade Inconel 713C turbine wheel offers excellent heat resistance and efficiency. The compressor housing is a T51R-modified forward-facing design with an anti-surge ported shroud to reduce compressor surge and improve boost stability. It includes an integrated speed sensor port for real-time monitoring and tuning. The turbine housing has a 0.64 A/R ratio with a T25 inlet and 5-bolt outlet for a compact and secure fit. The compressor side features a 3-inch hose inlet and 2-inch outlet optimized for efficient airflow. Additionally, it has a water-cooled and oil-lubricated center housing to maintain thermal stability and lubrication reliability. This turbo also includes an integrated internal wastegate (IWG) with an 11.6 psi spring, providing consistent and reliable boost control. Standardized fittings like M14 x 1.5 water ports, a –4 AN oil restrictor, and a T3 oil drain flange simplify installation.
