Overview
The PSR 6862G Forward DBB Turbocharger is a high-performance core unit designed to support up to 1050 horsepower, ideal for serious race or street builds. It features a dual ceramic ball bearing system, which reduces friction and enhances spool-up time, throttle response, and long-term reliability. At its core are a 9-blade G-Aero billet compressor wheel and a 9-blade G-Aero Inconel 713C turbine wheel, both engineered to deliver high efficiency and exceptional heat resistance. The turbo includes a T51R-modified compressor inlet with an anti-surge ported shroud, helping to stabilize boost and prevent surge at high airflow. An integrated speed sensor port allows for advanced data monitoring and tuning. While this version is supplied without turbine or compressor housings, it offers flexibility for custom applications. The center housing is water-cooled and oil-lubricated, featuring M14 x 1.5 water ports, a 7/16-24 UNF oil feed with a pre-installed –4 AN restrictor, and a standard T3 oil drain flange, making it easy to integrate into most setups. This housing-free configuration is ideal for fabricators or advanced builders looking to pair it with custom housings.
